This course empowers educators to extend and enhance their professional learning by transforming literacy training insights (from programs like LETRS, CAREIALL, OL&LA, Wilson Reading System, Reading 360, Lexia Core5 Reading, Orton Gillingham, Fundations, or i-Ready) into practical classroom applications. Participants must have completed or be currently enrolled in one of these trainings, as the course assignments are designed to build upon the content and strategies introduced in them. Through reflective practice, collaborative discussions, and goal-setting, participants will design actionable strategies to improve student outcomes and foster inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments. Educators will create lessons, presentations, or resources to share their knowledge with students, colleagues, and the broader community. By the course's end, participants will have a personalized plan for sustained growth, stronger teaching practices, and a deeper understanding of their impact on the school community.
